How to play

Clear explanations for each competition type, account credit, ticket limits, results and prize claims.

Basics

Getting started

Create an account, choose an active competition, select your entries and complete checkout. Spot the Ball competitions also require you to place a marker before the entry is added to your basket.

Your account lists competition entries, ticket numbers where applicable, orders and any published winner result.

Every competition page shows its closing time. The server validates the deadline again when an order is created and fulfilled.

Mechanics

Competition types

Each paid Spot the Ball entry stores a normalised X/Y coordinate. After closing, authorised judging data can be recorded and the platform ranks valid entries by distance from the final judging coordinate.

After a verified paid order, the backend allocates the next secure ticket inventory positions inside a database transaction. Any prize attached to the allocated ticket is recorded against the customer entry.

Valid entries are recorded against the competition. The supplied draw service uses cryptographically secure random selection and stores a result event for audit. Independent verification should be used where your legal/compliance design requires it.

Free-entry promotions can use a zero-priced competition or a dedicated earned-ticket workflow. Your final free-entry route must match the legal structure approved for your business.

Orders

Entries & checkout

No. A production payment provider must confirm payment server-to-server. The frontend never gets authority to mark an order paid or issue tickets.

The fulfilment service checks the customer’s existing entries and the configured per-user limit before creating new entries.

The database includes an immutable wallet transaction ledger foundation. A future release can add controlled spend, expiry and promotional-credit rules.

Winners

Results & prizes

The Winners page reads final winner records from the application database. You can add original winner media and result documentation after fulfilment.

The result service detects equal winning distances and records the tie state instead of silently choosing one entrant. Your approved tie-break process can then be applied.

Yes, but the value and terms should be stored and displayed as part of your competition content and approved rules before launch.
